Q: What's your cancellation policy? 

A: £25 deposit may be requested at time of a telephone or email booking, which is non returnable in the event of a cancellation within 3 days of arrival.


Q: Are you wheel-chair accessible?

A: Regretfully not. The building is listed and as we are a very small concern cannot undertake the necessary adaptions at this time.


Q: Do you have a diversity policy?

A: We welcome male and female visitors from any ethnic background and faith. We are also a gay friendly establishment.


Q: Do you have off-street parking?

A: Yes. One space per room.


Q: Can I bring my dog?

A: Yes, if guaranteed clean and well behaved.


Q: Are you small-children/infant friendly?

A: Yes, providing that parents ensure reasonable behaviour and respect for other guests.


Q: What time is breakfast served?

A: Negotiable - normally between 6.00 and 9.30.


Q: How do I make a reservation?

A: By telephone or Email. The contact us page will do this for you. There is also a free on-line booking system available on this website,


Q: How old is the hotel?

A: 17th century, Georgian and Victorian but modernised inside to a high standard.


Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: Cash, debit / credit cards. Regretfully credit cards will incur a surcharge of 3% due to the high costs for small users.
