Grange Farm House is owned and run by Stephen and Liz Pettman, who live on site. They have been there since July 2007 and started Bed and Breakfast in January 2008. Both have Food Safety certificates. For breakfast we offer, cereals, fruit juice, fresh fruit, full English, toast, tea or coffee. All meat used for breakfast (sausage, bacon, black pudding) is purchased from G. Debman Family Butcher, Ipswich. When available organic produce is used (except for Heinz baked beans) - eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms. All food is fresh. Bread comes from local bakers. Stephen and Liz are pleased to accommodate any dietary requirements and will endeavour to meet any reasonable requests in relation to breakfast.
The house is a 17th century and Georgian farm house, situated in Lower Walton. The accommodation consists of two large bedrooms in the Georgian part of the house. Both rooms can be doubles or twins and are en suite. The larger room can accommodate a third or fourth small bed, if required. The accommodation is not suitable for persons who are unable to climb stairs or who are allergic to animals. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Off street parking is available (one per room). Guests are welcome from any race, faith and sexual orientation. Free WiFi is also available.
Local shops, including a fish and chip shop / kebab grill can be found two hundred yards away. Five minutes by car or fifteen minutes walk away from Walton High Street, where public houses and the excellent Bombay Nite Indian restaurant are found. Easy access from Felixstowe Port. Felixstowe town centre and beach two miles away. Regular bus service from opposite the house to Felixstowe town centre and Ipswich.
Both Stephen and Liz have lived all their lives in Suffolk and are pleased to assist in planning excursions. The house is near to the A14, which provides excellent links to the whole of Suffolk.
